During my tenure as Goffstown Town Clerk:
- Revenues have increased from $1.6 million to over $2.6 million annually
- Motor vehicle registrations have increased from 16,000 to over 19,500
- Added E-Reg - motor vehicle renewal registrations via the internet - 2005
- Brought Goffstown on-line with the State of NH Motor Vehicles – July 2001, adding the following services:
- Increase vehicle weight limit from 8,000 lbs. to 26,000 lbs.
- Vanity plates
- Conservation (Moose) plates
- Certified replacement motor vehicle registrations
- Replacement Decals
- Replacement license plates
- Brought back the mail-in motor vehicle renewal program in July 2001
- Upgraded town’s motor vehicle and dog licensing computer software – October 2002
- Began registering boats – January 2004
- Vital records computer upgraded – July 2004 and July 2006
- Added ability to search birth, death and marriage records anywhere in New Hampshire from 1988 to present and divorce records from 1998 to present
- Increased the number of voting machines and booths at each polling place – May 2004
- Continuing vital records restoration program
- Dog licensing via mail
- Enhanced information on the town’s web site

- Perform marriage and civil union ceremonies
- Increased the pool of election workers and continue recruitment and training
- Relocated Town Clerk’s office to Room 210 to allow for a more personal and private environment for residents
- Became pro-active in legislative issues
- Initiated legislation that will save money by reducing the number of ballots the Secretary of State is required to print
- Created a network of resources
- Working on grant applications from the NH Vital Records program for record restoration and preservation
- Established policies and procedures to ensure we follow state laws and regulations
Goals for the Future:
- Research and apply for grants that will improve services and programs to save taxpayer dollars
- Cross-train staff for greater efficiency and convenience to residents
- Work on improved methods for the storage and retrieval of town records
- Partner with the Board of Selectmen, Administration, Boards and Committees, Town staff and residents continue to improve and enhance service capabilities
I very much wish to continue serving as your Town Clerk. It is a multi-faceted job which requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, make changes at a moments notice and adhere to all state laws and regulations. I am experienced and have the training and qualifications to be your Town Clerk. I have a network of professionals to turn to when the need arises and have established myself as someone to whom people can turn to. I will always be honest and forthright. I am committed to quality service. In this ever changing environment you must keep
an eye on the future while preserving the past.
