Thank you Jim
Raymond
At
the end of last night's Planning Board
meeting, the final motion of the evening
was, of course, a motion to adjorn.
That motion was made by long-time member
Jim Raymond.
Not only was it the last motion of the
night. It was also Jim's last as a
member of the Goffstown Planning Board.
Having served the community in that
capacity since April of 1992, Jim held the
chairmanship more than once and is also
moderator of our school district.
As an attorney and managing partner
for the law firm of Upton-Hatfield, LLP,
his background includes more than 25 years of experience assisting business clients with commercial and real estate transactions, business planning and related activities. |

That
experience has proven vital to the planning
board - to the community - time and time
again.
Goffstown owes many thanks to Jim for his dedication and diligent efforts in serving the best interests of its residents.
He has always, to the best of his ability, helped navigate the
planning board through some particularly difficult times and issues, and done so with decorum and professionalism.
The steadfast zeal and dedication Jim consistently applied towards serving the best interests of our community will be sorely missed.
Thank you for
your years of dedicated service to the
community, Jim. Your absence on the
planning board will no doubt be keenly felt.
