Association are written by various members and
contributing non-members of the GRA.

Recently the pink slip fairy visited my abode.  I sent out a cover letter and resume to anyone on my e-mail list located in this general area.  Some Selectmen and School Board members were sent this package in order to subtly make a point that times are still tough.

Tuesday I was heartened by the response one of the members of the Board of Selectmen made: "Just shows us that times are tough everywhere. It does not look like it is going to get better for a while."

I hope more of parties asking for increases that seem inappropriate in the current economic climate and the parties deciding upon the budgets to be presented to the voters in March are hearing what I and others have been preaching for quite a while now -- seriously tighten up the budget!
