Blood Finder of New Hampshire Is A Great Help To Hunters

It was February of this year that my brother-in-law, Henry Camirand, and I first met Weare residents Don and Linda Boisvert, at their Blood Finder of New Hampshire booth, at the Eastern Fishing & Outdoor Expo, in Worcester, Massachusetts. They were introducing people to a forensic product called BlueStar, a blood revealing agent that greatly increases a hunter’s chance of finding his or her deer after the shot. "I sell blood detection products to law enforcement agencies, the Fish and Game Department, the U.S. Government and to sportsmen. My business has given a lot of information on what to look for and what a blood trail can tell a hunter about the hit they’ve made on an animal," Don Boisvert said.

"Blood trails can be misleading to the hunter. Lots of blood does not necessarily indicate a mortal wound, nor does a seeming lack of blood necessarily mean the animal isn’t dead," Don stated. "The reaction of the animal and the blood pattern will give us a better understanding of how to go about recovering the animal. Normally, animals do not bleed to death, as an animal that weights 160 pounds must lose 45 plus ounces to die from blood loss alone. Animals will die faster from trauma than blood loss, and a combination of both is by far the best. Again, rarely do animals die from blood loss. They die from trauma. Many times the blood can not even be seen. Hunters don’t have to be fooled. They can turn doubt into success by checking every trail with BlueStar. It will immediately tell you if there was a hit."

Don Boisvert, has been hunting for 50 years. He first learned about BlueStar, a forensic blood finding product, about a year ago and became a distributor of this product. "It was right then that Linda and I started our product distribution company, ‘Blood Finder of New Hampshire‘ ", Don told me. "The reason I got involved is because I am color blind and I was on line looking for help. A lot of folks won’t admit they are color challenged. Anyhow, that’s how I came across BlueStar. I called a distributor, Jerry Allen, and he guided me in the right direction. BlueStar set me up as a distributor of their blood finding product. Since then, Linda and I have set up almost 100 retail stores in the northeast and the U.S. that sell BlueStar."

Basically, what BlueStar does is it illuminates blood and doesn’t need any light. It shows up as a fluorescent blue coloration when it contacts blood and can be readily seen, even by those who are color challenged. However, it only works after dark or in low light conditions. It is the only blood finding agent that works well in any weather, even in rain. The Boisverts’ demonstrated how the BlueStar kit works and it was truly amazing. Don told us that if you hit a deer and rain gets onto the blood, the red blood may disappear from sight but it won’t wash away. With BlueStar sprayed on the area, the blood will still show up as a bright fluorescent blue coloration. The BlueStar kit comes with an empty spray bottle and two foil packs containing two tablets each, in each package, one tablet is white and one is tan color. You put one of each color tablet into the spray bottle, and add 8 ounces of water and mix. Full instructions come with the kit. The kit sells for $19.99.

For further information about BlueStar, readers can visit Blood Finder of New Hampshire’s website at: www.bloodfinderofnh.com. The kit may be ordered directly from them, via their website, or by calling them at (603) 529-2498. Readers will also find a very interesting article on the Blood Finders of New Hampshire website on how the forensic side of BlueStar detected and found confederate blood stains 143 years after the Battle of Gettysburg.
