To the Editor:
I have lived in Goffstown for over 20 years and this pay is ridiculous.
Our taxes are skyrocketing and 75% of our tax bill is for the school.
75% of that is for teachers and the SAU benefits and wages.
They keep saying its for the kids but its the teachers that are getting the $.
How come Goffstown has 3 SAU administrators with
3000 students and 7 schools, and Manchester has 21 schools and
16,000 students with 3 administrators in their
SAU?
The other 2 assistant admins in Goffstown make
just shy of $95K, get rid of one of them and save at least $140K annually with
benefits each.
I am considering moving out, no matter what the taxpayers say the school board keeps raising taxes.
About 200 people ( I am sure all teachers and union flunkies) showed up for the
deliberative session vote - put it to the full town and these budget increases will go down.
Enough is enough, why should we be paying this much money for about 200 teachers & SAU MEMBERS??
IT'S INSANE!!
