Thieves hit
19 cars in one night
GOFFSTOWN - Goffstown Police Capt. Michael Sullivan
reported that valuables were stolen from at least 19 cars in
the Main Street area of town on Sunday, July 22nd. The
thefts appeared to be random, and took place sometime
between 2:00am and 5:00am.
“We have thefts like this sporadically around town. It’s the
number of cars at once with this one,” said Sullivan. The
investigation into the incident continues, but so far no
suspects have been identified.
Goffstown police urge residents to keep their cars locked,
and to be sure valuables are either removed from the
vehicles or stored out of sight in places such under the
seats or in the trunk.
