charged after hitting cars, house |
GOFFSTOWN - Eighteen-year-old Jonathan Green, of
Weare, has been arrested by Goffstown police and charged
with felony reckless conduct, felony drunk driving,
reckless operation, two counts of assault on a police
officer, possession of a controlled substance, and two
counts of conduct after an accident.
The incident began when Green, driving a pickup truck,
rear-ended a car driven by Jennifer Gurksnis, 29, of
Weare. She was taken to Elliot Hospital in
Manchester and treated for minor injuries.
Green then continued north along Mast Road where he
rear-ended a second car driven by 62-year-old Merril
Shepard, also of Weare, forcing him off the road.
Witnesses said Green then shifted into reverse, spun the
truck around in tight circles in a driveway then drove
onto property at 153 North Mast Road and struck the
residence there,
causing significant damage to the foundation.
Green is scheduled to appear in Goffstown District Court on November 20, 2007.
