Teen victim of severe beating

GOFFSTOWN - Police are investigating the beating of a 19-year-old Goffstown teenager who went to Rock Rimmon on Manchester's west side Wednesday night to resolve past conflicts by fighting with an acquaintance.

Police said he found more than he expected, as the acquaintance was accompanied by several others, who surrounded the youth.

In the ensuing altercation, the victim suffered what police described as serious injuries to his face and head as was taken to the Elliot Hospital for treatment.

Police said the victim remembered being in the fight, but does not remember driving to a Goffstown gas station where an ambulance was called.  He told police he has no memory of what happended between the fight and treatment by emergency personnel at the gas station.

Manchester police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 668-8711.  Anonymous tips can be provided through the Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040.
