BETHEL, VT. - A
Goffstown man was transported to the hospital with facial lacerations Sunday morning after police said he fell asleep at the wheel.
Around 6:30 a.m., state police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89. Police said Bradley C. Wise, 19, of Goffstown, N.H., was driving north in a 1988 Jeep Cherokee when he fell asleep. Police said Wise drove off the road, struck a rock ledge and rolled over.
Police said Wise was trapped within his vehicle and was extracted with the assistance of rescue personnel. White River Valley Ambulance and Bethel and Randolph Fire Departments responded to the scene, police said.
Police said Wise suffered facial lacerations and possible shoulder and back injuries and was transported to Gifford Medical Center in Randolph for treatment. His condition was not available.
