Goffstown police said two men were arrested after being caught at the scene of a home burglary
Tuesday night.
Officers said they found forced entry through a rear garage window when they responded to a residential burglar
alarm on Mast Road. Police said while the officers were investigating, a male suspect ran from the house and was
apprehended a short distance later by Officer Christopher
Weeks and his K9.
Police identified the suspect as Jason Bailey, 29,
of Concord.
When police returned to the house to finish searching the inside, they said they found a second suspect who had
climbed out onto the roof. Police said the second suspect, Christopher Benson, 32, of Weare, was also taken into
custody.
Both suspect are being held at the Valley Street Jail on $20,000 cash bail.
Police said they were each charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and resisting arrest.
Both suspects were scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
Police said this burglary does not appear to be connected to a string of other burglaries in Goffstown and
neighboring towns, but they are not yet ruling anything out.
