I moved to Goffstown in 2003 from nearly a 25 year residence in Nashua. I saw growth go out of control there and knew that I would prefer a smaller, more intimate community and happened to pick Goffstown.
After settling in and re locating Uptown Auto Repair in Pinardville, I joined the Goffstown Rotary Club and experienced such a sense of community that was certainly lacking in big cities and even
Nashua. I then purchased a house and truly made my home in Goffstown.
I have just finished my 2nd 3 year term on the Goffstown Budget Committee where I learned up close and personal the intricacies of how the taxes are raised and spent in order to maintain a very well run and adequately funded community.
In 2008, I ran for the NH House of Representatives and was successful in the election.
As a member of the House Transportation Committee, I worked closely with the Dept. of Safety to assist in passing what I thought was good legislation while standing firm on voting to reject legislation that would adversely effect the residents of Goffstown and Weare as well as the entire state.
I was successful in my run for re-election to the NH House in 2010 and was appointed as the Vice Chair of the House Transportation Committee as a member of leadership.
I am currently serving and look forward to another exciting 2 years in Concord.
